The lamp is named Hipp after the theatre in Malmö it was made for. It is designed to serve the specific needs of the space. Because of the extreme ceiling hight fixed pendal lamps would strongly limit the use of the space, it would be to hard to adjust them. But I still wanted an intimate atmosphere around the tables, and came up with the idea of wall mounted pendel lamps that could be adjusted in all directions. And since it proved to be impossible to find such lamps on the market to an acceptable price, I instead had them made.The staff is apparently very pleased with the outcome and the lamp is actually used as intended. They do adjust the hight and length every day. The next step is to start producing them myself, and of course improve the design a bit as some minor adjustments has to be made. This is actually a prototype.
